Mike Berguin
Owner, Founder & Concrete Director
Mike, a subject matter expert in the field of concrete construction, founded Tilt-Up Construction, Inc. (TUCI) in 1999 with a focus on mobility, allowing the business to operate across the country. Over the past 25 years, he and his crews have completed projects in 20 states, from Arizona to North Carolina. Certified by the American Concrete Institute and a member of both the Tilt-Up Concrete Association and the American Society of Concrete Contractors, Mike is dedicated to delivering top-quality concrete craftsmanship. He holds a B.S. in Construction Management from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Under his leadership, TUCI has built lasting relationships with clients such as The Home Depot and Academy Sports + Outdoors, earning their trust through a wide range of successful projects.
Juan Avila
Lead Superintendent
Juan Avila brings 35 years of experience in the construction industry, with an impressive career path from laborer to form carpenter and, for the past 25 years, Lead Superintendent at TUCI. Known for his integrity, honesty and strong work ethic, Juan is a skilled leader passionate about maintaining strict schedules and upholding high-quality standards on every project. Originally from Kaufman, Texas, Juan is an expert in concrete construction, specializing in tilt-up techniques, and his commitment to excellence has made him a cornerstone of the TUCI team.
